In March, I attended the United Nations Commission on Status of Women (CSW 68). One of the many excellent presentations was “Acting from Love and Courage.” The Minister of Women (a governmental position) from Costa Rica was on the panel … yes, you read that right!! Her name is Cindy Quesada Hernandez. After traveling to Costa Rica last October, I’m not surprised they have this important position. Does the U.S. have a Minister of Women? Doesn’t every country need one? It makes me want to appeal to our government to add this as a Cabinet position … and I’ll fill the position if they’d like!!

Just think how different the world would be if more women were in leadership roles such as this. I can share here that after attending this session, I sure am dreaming!!
