I was recently exhibiting my harp CDs and books at a holistic expo. I had my PeaceHarp on the exhibit table because I played for a meditation. Several people came up to my table and asked me about how the PeaceHarp is different than the Reverie harp. It’s a great question and here are my thoughts:
- The Reverie is not really a harp. It is tuned in the Pentatonic scale and it is almost impossible to play any melody. Yes, you can play glissandos up and down the strings but honestly, that’s about it.
- The PeaceHarp is an actual harp that has 12 strings tuned in the key of C and you can play many familiar and unrecognizable songs. (When customers purchase a PeaceHarp, I provide two lessons and 30 songs.)
