On this special day of love, from Musical Reflections, we wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s a day connected to our hearts and we recently learned this technique that might be of interest to you, our heart-felt readers!
Place both hands on your heart and breathe into your heart for several breath cycles (inhale and exhale). How do you feel? Our guess is you feel calmer, more peaceful and if you don’t, try a few more breath cycles.
One thing that occurs when you put your hands on your heart, is you by-pass the mind/brain and focus on your heart/love energy. Since we originate from love, this is a wonderful exercise to connect us to love, compassion, appreciation, support, etc. Can you see why you likely move into peace, calm, restoration, etc. by doing this simple exercise?
